I'm about 90% through act 2 with Monk. Basically, it's like a normal melee character that's had about 30 cups of coffee.
I do about 65-80 damage and about 1100 life with pretty much everything magic.
It's pretty fun just destroying everything before they even knew what hit them.
Thus far it's pretty similar to how the Barb was with Frenzy in D2

I'm a level 22 monk. My damage as listed in the details of your character screen is 73.7. And I have 1024 hit points.
Skills on my hot bars most of the time are.
1- breath of heaven (circle of scorn rune)
2- blinding flash (blinded and confused rune)
3- fist of thunder (thunderclap rune)
4- mantra of evasion
Left click - Way of hundred fists
Right click - Lashing tail kick (sweeping armada rune)
No idea how good the set up is. I like using it, im usually grouped up so the blind an heals come in handy. I spam 3 and left click alot.

Is there something special I need to do to be able to access the forums via my Diablo 3 account? I can only see my WoW characters on the list and can't post with those since my WoW account isn't active.
EDIT: Nevermind, figured it out, it was first on the list but just wasn't the same format as the others so I thought it was a header, not an account.
EDIT2: Not that it matters, I can't post to the forums anyway now because of my hacked parental controls! Lucky I can play the game still I guess. They said they fixed the parental controls thing but I guess they didn't.

Anyone else find that Diablo 3 feels like Blizzard just converted WoW to an isometric view and added some demons? Don't get me wrong I love the game (when I can get on) but it feels a LOT like WoW to me. Formatting for quests and item descriptions is very similar, even the graphic style looks like WoW to me.

Well D1 and D2 did influence WoW, so it only makes sense that they used some WoW influences on D3.

Why do I have to sign onto a server to play a single player game? This is bull crap. Error 37 again.

*Sigh* I know this is a temporary pita, but that doesn't make it any less annoying.

Having a hard time staying connected, get lots of 3007 errors. Now can't get on at all. Blizz is the king of crappy launches, this reminds me of WoW late 2004 and early 2005. The game is pretty fun though.

Maybe best to start an alt on Europe or Asia.

Blizzard is just going further down hill with each game they have made after Diablo 2.

I really don't think stability defines whether a company is going down hill or not.
If Blizzard can't handle it, there isn't a video game company in the world that could.

I am just frustrated. I want to be able to play a game I just paid $60 for. With how long it takes Blizzard to make games, we should not be going through this right now.
