I relish thinking of all the shots and beers that were ordered in celebration of that tying goal. Only to have the Oilers lose by the time they arrived.

This is fun to watch knowing what happened a minute later.
Why didn't they keep it going another minute?! Would've been priceless.

Just another day of pissing away money on the oilers.

It was men against boys for the first two periods, then LA took their foot off of the gas.

I bet that doesn't happen again. Meanwhile the Oilers were who were said they were. Terrible goaltending, terrible defense core, spectacular sloppiness in their own end.

LA will stomp a mudhole in the Oilers in the next game and walk it dry.

The Oilers suck. 40 year old Perry riding shotgun with McDave. Losers

Great way for Edmonton to lose in terms of what damages McDavid’s relationship with the team the most. An example of the poor team design letting him down after he (along with a lot of luck/help from officials) brought them back into the game. If the series follows this at and LA finds a way to win it, it will be frustrating for McDavid to the point he may be ready to move on.

Even look at the oilers down the stretch… both McDavid and Draisaitl were hurt so they rested them but kept having to bring them back in to save the oilers from falling into a wild card spot or be in danger of missing the playoffs. They have no draft picks and one of the worst prospect pools in the league. They are the oldest team in the league and every player is either on the verge of leaving their prime or have already passed it. If the oilers lose this series in a devastating way (or any way really), I wonder if it’s enough to push McDahid to walk to free agency.

I find it ridiculous that the Oilers always get away with penalties when they're down by a few goals:
The 4-1 goal, was just McDavid getting away with holding Kopitar's stick

It was a deciding factor in the series against the Flames, and almost was a deciding factor in game 1. Hopefully the Kings won't sit back in the 3rd again.

McDavid has been doing that for years now. He's always grabbing an opponent's arm or stick when trying to get past a defender. He actually draws a lot of penalties by making it look like he's being held when he's the one holding. Officiating was pretty horrific in that 3rd period.

They have to start calling him on that ####. To be considered a superstar in this league yet you need to cheat to score. Pathetic.

I believe it was not long before the 5-4 goal there was a higher blatant trip by the Oilers that LA was complaining about never got called.

Perry Crosschecked the defensemen to the ice to separate for his goal, no call
