It's going to be a while before Djokovic and Mensik play their match. Currently in a rain delay and there's a WTA doubles final that needs to be completed before the men's final will start.

Looks like the skies have finally cleared and the men's final will be on court as soon as the women's doubles final is completed.

Novak's right eye is swollen and it certainly appears to be bothering him.

The Mensik serve is already near S tier, but it feels like he should have bigger power off the ground for his size

What a performance by Jakub Mensik tonight defeating Djokovic 7-6 7-6. Even more impressive was the ability to stay focused despite terr8le Nole fans yelling during his serve and during some rallies. Great stuff.

Remember when Madrid did this for real with the blue clay fiasco...

The Philippines has as many WTA players in the top 100 as Canada - Not an April Fools joke.

Darn it, the rain has suspended play between Gabriel Diallo and Sebastian Baez in Bucharest with the match level at 1 set each. Gabe is/was playing some excellent clay court tennis today, but it's doubtful they will be able to resume the match later today as he forecast is not good.

Monte-Carlo draw is taking shape - Shapo takes on Marcos Giron and the winner will face Jack Draper. Felix faces qualifier Daniel Altmaier and if FAA advances to round 2 he would play Richard Gasquet who defeated Matteo Arnaldi earlier today.

Welp, that was a short stay in Monte-Carlo for both Shapo and Felix. Sometimes I think both guys should just skip this tourney, they are regarded as the slowest clay courts on tour and it eliminates the weapons that both guys have.

I agree but still disappointing that neither could even win a set against qualifiers. If that's the best they can do against Giron and Altmaier, you wonder if they could avoid being bagelled by Alcaraz on his game. Both of them are let down by the inconsistencies in their service games. If your serve is going to be a weapon in your game, it better show up more than once every few matches.

Shapovalov just wants matches so he's playing in anything.
FAA, this is his home tournament, he lives there.
