I hate cheap pens, but that was an outstretched hand that prevented a cross into the Penalty Area very obviously preventing a scoring opportunity. You have to call that.

Knowing Southgate, he probably brings on Gallagher.

It's genuinely incredible how bad they look. They are the antithesis of Austria and the Swiss, they look like 11 guys out there who might not even know each others names, let alone how to play together.

With soccer manager tactics and familiarity mean more than any other sport...and you could see with Italy yesterday and England today that you have 11 guys and a manager that seem to have no idea what type of game they are being asked to play and how they want to play.
The big difference between club and international management is that for club you can build a squad to fit the style of play you want to play, but internationally you need to be able to change your tactics to fit the best players at your disposal.
