Imagine throwing trash at Anze Kopitar, one the classiest leaders in the game. What an embarrassment

I just found it. Haha. You have to manually put it on April 18 and 12:00 AM and then go to 29:50.

I fell asleep last night but was pleasantly surprised by the scoreboard this morning.

Man someone at SN needs to tell Singh that he's not calling a regional game here as there was a stark contrast between his Oiler goal calls and his Kings goal calls.

I didn’t watch the end of this, so at the risk of asking something obvious, why were the fans throwing things on the ice at the end? Just the usual stupidity, or was there actually something controversial?

The guy just has zero interest in being good at his job. He's a fan.

I missed the OT but I saw the replay and I'm not sure why Oilers fans are so upset at the tripping call as it was tripping.

His call of the tying goal was shamefully subdued. The OT winner barely better.
In fairness, when broadcast does those glowing closeups of the fan base singing the national anthem (as though they are the only ones who know the words), they should follow that with closeup coverage of that glorious fanbase littering the ice with trash and full beers at the end?
Satisfying result.

Because they "let one go" the other way a minute earlier. Because of course they did.

With their fancy arena they should be able to identify those throwing things at players that could do physical damage, and ban them for the series.
Go kings.

McDavid played 25:24 in game 83 of his season. I understand that he is the best player on their team, but how much does he have left in the tank.

Yeah, but you’re never gonna hear that from the Oiler loving media.

Do you really believe Sportsnet is neutral? All their money comes from Canadian teams. And they are going to push a "Canada's Team" narrative if any of these advance deep.

Something terrific about going to bed with the game tied ant the end of regulation and then waking up to see that LA completed the comeback.
Like waking up on Christmas morning.

Well, great. Let it be Winnipeg or Toronto.
I hope the Kings beat these clowns.

Would he even be available to call the playoffs with monster truck spring tours in full swing?
