I don't know if it is the timing of this finish but the back nine for the final groups has been really boring in my opinion. I have it on the tv but I haven't even paid attention in the last 30 minutes or so.

Bit of a yawner as far as a US Open goes. Just feels like a regular tournament. What's up with the fans? I've noticed they're very pedestrian and the numbers seem smaller than most majors.

Seems like a lot of hospitality setup and not as much on the course which probably impacts the atmosphere. The course doesn't seem to have a lot of good gathering areas around the greens and tees.
