BoLevi would take offense to that.

You want WoS material? During the off season, I was hoping the Flames would sign Suter to add defensive depth. He was culpable on 2 goals last night. So glad we traded for Zadorov and signed Gudbranson instead.

Great, now that WoS has it's own discussion thread we can get back to talking about real issues... like the wave!

They were told they were being given free tickets to see the best player in the league. Assumed wrong that the Oil were playing.

I rarely post in those threads as I am usually watching the game delayed and when I have posted I can’t keep up with the game and the conversation. I also think many people cannot control their emotions and write some pretty ridiculous things down.

There are a handful of posters who have scaled back their posts or stopped posting altogether. Lanny MacDonald went from posting 10-15 walls of text a day ripping on the team and players and now posts far less. I don’t miss those one bit. Bo Levi goes to town when this team is losing 2-1 but goes away when they are winning. Haven’t seen Ricardo in a while.

This place was near unbearable last season and we finally get a good thing going I support keeping the negativity at bay as you could see it returning after game 3.
Should we report RicardoDW to police as a missing person? He has been absent for months!

He's not pessimistic. He's off his rocker.

Well he might be. That OT goal against the Ducks was big.

I have a feeling this one will be huge.

It was and it was.

As loud as an OT goal would be.

Here’s my thoughts as someone who made the Wall of Shame three times:

It’s a hilarious idea, it has potential, but it needs to be tweaked. I’m not sure how my comment about Mangiapane needing to show up made in the 2nd period of the 5th game of a playoff series in which he had 0 points at the time I posted the comment made the list. I don’t think there was anything shameful about that. It was a fair criticism of his play to date. Same with my comment about Tkachuk playing like garbage. He had a bad game and in the end contributed nothing offensively so I’m not sure that comment aged poorly.

My comment along the lines of “1 goal in 8 periods, disappointment again”? Sure. Throw that on there. That’s funny. And I don’t mind others having a laugh at the expense of my dramatic comments. I even laughed when I saw the post knowing there was a good chance that would make it in.

Lighten up. Take a joke. It’s not personal and it’s all in good fun. Just make sure the posts you put in there are actually worthy of “shame” and I see no issue with it. I don’t feel bullied because I had some posts go in there. The GT has always been emotional and reactionary. If you can’t laugh at yourself after a win then don’t post in the GT with your emotions running high.

I think the Wall of Shame is actually a pretty good idea.

We have to be able to laugh at ourselves - especially with how much we laugh at other fanbases.

Man, don't even joke about scoring an playoff OT goal at home -- I don't think my heart could take it.

The Backlund goal was a lot of pent up energy and frustration. The Mangiapane goal was pure jolt of adrenaline. Reminded me of Stajan's series winning goal against Vancouver in 2015.

Yup I was at that game as well. And felt the same way afterwards. I couldn't go home, dragged my pal for a beer after in Mission to wind down n/w/s he had to be up early.
