Update: since the end of the first the Jets have tied it and my Pho order on Doordash was delivered completely ruined because the place didn't know how to package it properly and the broth spilled out everywhere... So things are going quite poorly the last hour over here.

I think Bennett needs someone who can play with pace and make a play (and is better than him). Constantly putting Bennett out there with players that are worse than him is just rough to watch. He can’t carry a line by himself (...very few players can).

They rewarded Dube for his playoffs...but Bennett? Nope! If I’m Benny, I just ask for a trade or hope they expose in expansion at this stage, or sign a 1 year deal and then get to free agency as soon as possible.

They are what they are. Gaudreau is a flawed player who can wrack up the points. I've basically come to terms with the fact that this is the last season we'll see him as a flame, and I'm ok with that.

But the chances of them not being dumb and the refs not being jerks is slim at best.

Sam Bennet plays with scrubs because he is a scrub. You don't play scrubs up the lineup. Dube gets to play up the lineup because he's a talented player that can think and play the game at a speed Bennett can't. Dube will do things with better players like Lindholm and Tkachuk. He will produce. Sam Bennett won't. Sam Bennett is where Sam Bennett deserves to be.

The is team is done if they aren’t good at 5v5. The team can’t overcome them being a liability at 5v5.

You can’t compare Lucic-Bennett-Nordstrom to Lucic-Bennett-Dube.

Bennett and Dube used speed and tenacity and made the line a force.

Bennett with two slow grinders isn’t doing anything.

Yeah, he shows flashes at times in the regular season, but really ramps up the intensity in the playoffs for whatever reason. He is what he is.
