I am truly amazed how many deplorables live among us. Idiots, idiots and deplorables everywhere.
Wish they'd go back into hiding like pre-2016.

It's too soon to say that this is the culmination, though I'll be glad if it is.

I was working outside all day, so I'm just catching up on all the insane shenanigans from earlier. What a f***ing embarrassment of a country. I'm absolutely aghast at the events that took place today, and I feel terrible for my American friends down there who never voted for any of this crap, including the fine American folks who frequent this forum. The whole thing is just so infuriating, depressing, and just so goddamn sad.

I liked Chip Roy's speech. He sounded totally prepared to end his political career to stand up for democratic principles.
Actually, a few of the Republicans that spoke on behalf of opposing the objection came off as very sincere.

I don't condone harming innocent people to achieve political goals, no.

By medical emergencies, could it also mean things like falls, head injuries, lacerations, etc...?
I wouldn't be surprised if some of these idiots darwined themselves.

Not really. In Alberta we don’t see a lot of right wing psychopaths like they have in the States, nor do we see many left wing crazies either.

the problem isn't innocents getting hurt accidentally.
You're justifying targeting innocent people for political reasons.
I realize that you don't find this of concern morally/ethically, but I certainly do. I guess I'm a pacifist hippie.
