From Scott Wheeler: Late in the first round, I’d bet on a higher-risk player with real offensive potential than a safer NHL option with limited upside, which is what picking Pelletier comes down to.

Nice pick by the Flames again. Had Pelletier 22nd. Hard to fault the Flames not going for the grand slam given their lack of picks the past couple years.
