Ya, I don't get the Ryan lovefest for Peters. I can handle him as the 4th line C but why in holy hell is he on the PP?

I would take Allen over him. As I've been saying, he is the worst starting goalie in the western Conference, Smith.

Smith has cost us too many games already this season.

Not sure how Bennett gets instigator when Cole has his gloves off first.
I figured we had a chance at 3-1, but that 4th garbage goal by Smith ended any chance of a comeback. Not sure why Peters didn’t pull him. Despite the 2nd and 3rd goal
Not really being his fault everyone here at the dome could see he was fighting the puck and any shot had a chance of going in.

Oh they're there. They finished watching the Leafs game so now they're only paying attention to the Oilers game

Very done with Smith. Same body language as Pittsburgh game. The guy is his own worst enemy.

I don't. Smith is done, just accept it.

Smith has been terrible all season...barely made a save in the win against Toronto...team shouldn't have to play perfect hockey

Does about everything right with the skaters IMO but has mismanaged the goaltending. I understood giving smith a chance to get going in the first half of october but at some point Smith should've no longer been the default starter instead the guy that had to displace Rittich. He straight up hasn't earned that privilege.

No, it’s not. The flames are playing hockey, and they are going to get hit too. Take off your glasses and come to terms that you’re celebrating a great hit if that’s a flame delivering it.

I'd say the PP shares equal blame for this one.

Please put Chucky in the slot on the PP to start the 3rd. Please. We need a PP goal or two badly.

Sucks that Smith murdered this game, team was playing very solid considering the travel schedule. Time to move to a win and you keep playing system from Peters.

This is further proof, the frustrations Canes fans had with Peters and Ryan was real. Throughout the season it was something they hated. Wasn't just when he signed with the flames.
Can't believe we are paying him 3 million plus a year. As of now it's another bad UFA signing. He needs to be better.

I'm the biggest bennett defender but his gloves were definitely off first.

Then we have the 4th goal. Mother of God.
Flames the better team. Down 4-1

Also, that no goal that would have been terrible.
