Jays fail to take advantage of the their opportunities while Indians tend to do so. That's the difference and why Jays aren't going to be advancing by all indication.

The Cleveland Indians can do nothing wrong. They are executing perfectly. Every decision they make is the right one.
Napoli was smart as he caught Martin sleeping.
I must say Martin is having a postseason that I want to forget forever. I like the guy but I cannot handle another passed ball leading to a run, or a guy getting to third, etc etc. Get it together man!
None of this would matter if the Jays could actually muster a couple of big hits but that is looking like its going to be impossible.

No, the pitchers have not done their jobs. Four runs in 6 innings is a 6.0 ERA. That won't get you many Ws in the playoffs.

Still, 4 ER in 5.1 isn't even close to good enough. Not a great start by Stroman.

The pitching was fine this series on the whole.

They really don't. They've scored 8 runs in three games and their pitchers just haven't been punished for any mistakes. The pitches are there but these bums (especially Jose and Edwin) can't make them pay.

Stroman wasn't great tonight or anything, but the bats have been absolutely putrid for this entire series, and the entire month of September basically.
So frustrating.

Stroman wasn't great tonight, but overall the pitching has been good enough, if only the offense weren't in the toilet.

So what have the Jays done to deserve the series? They are being outplayed, simple as that

I will say though, if any fanbase deserves a double championship year, it's probably Cleveland. Living in that city is pretty high price to pay for a couple trophies over 70 years.

2-0 Martin swings at ball 3. Cause you're swinging such a hot bat Martin?

They don't deserve it. But let's not act like the Indians are playing well. Their pitching is being made look good and their hitters are doing just enough. They play like this against the cubs and they get swept.
