Not a big deal, but Aaron is in Alexandria. He was at the meeting in the church where Rick is asking people to turn over the missing guns.

Also, did they say Maggie was at the hilltop? I missed that.

Preview of the next episode shows her there, and they imply it when they talk about faking her death.

There was a whole point that Rick and the Preacher said she was dead.

they've done a good job of making it clear to us, the audience, that the group is completely under Neegan's thumb, with very little means of escape from this. It was furthered this past episode as the group is left with 1 little hand gun and no ammo.

What i really hope is that the season jumps to show how the team gets out of this asap. Putting further exclamation marks on just how screwed the group is and stuck under Neegan's control will get a bit frustrating/fatiguing to watch over the course of another few episodes.

I'm going to be really pissed if this Morse code thing is in the comics. Much like the voting for who was going to be killed, people who have read the comics do not have 'fan theories' and it is just a spoiler.

Darryl isn't in the comic so I don't see how it could be.

That felt like the episode of the Simpsons where everyone wants to kill Mr Burns. Not a whole lot happened though. I wish TWD was able to juggle more than one storyline in an episode, I think it would seam less slow.

Yeah the pace of this season could best be described as 'glacial' -- it's starting to lose me a bit.

Steven Ogg is awesome though -- I'm more interested in his character than Negan.

I think they can and will later in the season, but I think right now this is more about setting the tone in each location.

If you look at a show like Game of Thrones they usually have 3 or 4 stories going. I'd rather they do that, even if each one of the stories then takes a few episodes to get through. For instance, they could have combined last episode, this one, and the one with tiger guy. Just keep the pace up a bit.

Every time they try to do some story or character development, the complaints of "it's too slow" come out. Maggie crushing walkers and a Gremlin with a farm tractor weren't enough? How about Carl's drive thru walker? Come on...

I'm not saying the action was slow or the story was bad, I'm saying viewers are capable of following more than one storyline in an episode. I know this is how TWD has always done it, and that's their decision. I just disagree with it!

It's done that way mostly to save money for AMC. The actors get paid for every episode they appear in, whether it's one scene or every scene. By structuring the show the way they do, no actor is in every episode. This allows them to have a larger cast and keep costs down.

AMC did the same thing with the later seasons of Mad Men to keep the budget down. I believe Jon Hamm was the only actor who appeared in every episode of Mad Men. Every season, there was one or two episodes that Christina Hendricks didn't appear in. To make up for that, there would also be one or two episodes that had a prominent storyline for Joan.

They've done it in the past haven't they, had episodes that jump back and forth?

I kind of figured they'd start jumping around now after establishing all the story lines with one episode each. EDIT: Just read ^ oh interesting.

Personally I don't mind, juggling the story lines seems to make things rush past sometimes, being so focused on advancing the plot that there's no time to just let the story simmer, digging deeper into something.

That said, they've spun out a lot of different plot lines now, enough that I bet it'll be at least the end of next season before we see anything resembling a resolution to anything.
