Yeah I wouldn't be talking too much trash, even if we win it will be those Ducks we play next round.
That is a big, physical, fast team

I don't think anyone is talking trash. 100% the Ducks are better than the Canucks, but the Jets should not be on the brink of getting swept...that's just waste. They've had plenty of opportunities to win a game this series.
And....
I think the Flames are a faster team than the Ducks.

I was rolling my eyes at your comment about how the teams clinched.

Flames had a great record against the west as a whole...should they be lucky enough to advance they could give the Ducks a run...they are a great team but they had what one or two more row than the Flames

I don't think he is totally wrong in that comment, to avoid playing the Ducks, the Jets should have played better and beat out either the Blue, the Hawks and be in the top 3 in their division.
If they have beaten out the Hawks per se, they would be playing the Blue, and the Hawks would be in a blood bath with the Ducks.

We will have to learn how to win at least once there to beat them.

The nerd in me of course must reference Star Wars... Everyone thought this was a perfect match up for a young Cinderella team to upset or at least wear out the powerhouse Ducks.
"That team was our last hope."
"No... There is another."

Few comments on the game and series in general:
-Great crowd tonight
-Why are the Jets using the slogan "our tadtition" for the whiteout when it was the Flames idea first? I don't really care that they copied us, but come on, use a better slogan, unless I'm an idiot and that slogan is for something else? But this point is one of those "old man yells at cloud" points.
-Another thing I don't understand is why it's funny that they call Perry "Katy Perry" but when we call the Sedin's "the Sedin sisters" it's degrading to women and frowned upon? Not saying I condone the Sedin sisters name, but isn't that the same thing being said? Seemed no one cared about the Katy Perry thing on here.
-Even though I'm cheering for Anaheim, Ryan Kesler is a ding dong and I'm sorry it had to be him to tie the game up
-Is Byfuglien's punch on Perry suspendable? Personally I'd give him a game.

We won there in the 2006 playoffs. It's the regular season where we've been cursed in the Honda Centre. Not getting ahead of ourselves but we looked convincing against the Ducks in our last game against them and the season series was only 3-2 games in their favour.

One of the reasons that the Pacific division is considered "weaker" is because the Flames took the whips to San Jose and the Kings all year.
And Oilers and Dogs, too obviously.

I did that Game 6 in the 2004 Stanley Cup Finals. I learned my lesson...

You got a problem with crying? It's a perfectly normal human emotion. Tears are a healthy stress release for your body. It's a natural mechanism.

Calgary Flames v. Pac Div: 22-6-1
Winnipeg Jets v. Pac Div: 10-8-3
Calgary Flames v. WC: 31-16-3
Winnipeg Jets v. WC: 26-16-8
Both teams did much better in their own division, but the Flames had the better record in the West overall. I agree that there is a definite gap in the competition level because both the Oilers and the Coyotes are in the Pacific (and yet, for how much tougher Winnipeg supposedly has it, they managed to allow these historically bad teams to collect 5 points in games against them this season). But the Flames are in the playoffs because they played very well against their rivals—considerably better than did the Jets.

Feel for you man, was really hoping the jets could take out the Ducks, I loathe that team and they scare me.
Tough way to lose on such an emotional night, sympathies my friend.

Sorry, are you under the impression that the Flames are the first team to have their fans do the "let's all wear the same colour" thing? This is like Vancouver fans who claim to have invented waving towels around.

Yeah it's the same thing. Just as bad.

Some commentator said the Jets fans were "clever".
"Kesler Sucks" and "Katy Perry" are really lame taunts.
Flames fans did not invent Sea of Red. For example, how long have the Dutch been wearing all orange?

Why? Because if he punches a hole in the wall he's a 'real' man?

That's three harsh losses. Feel bad for Jets fans.
I was hoping for a Winnipeg win, or at least hit the Ducks for 7 games.
