Umpire on a power trip. That's ridiculous. Can't believe I just saw that.

Worst umpire in MLB and has been for a long time.

This is absolutely unbelievable. MLB should have egg all over their faces for the performance of the umpires in this one. C.B. Bucknor, you should be ashamed. Absolutely ridiculous.

The Jays need to call the league. He shouldn't be on the field for any more Jays games moving forward.

Tough night too as both Tampa and the Yankees are winning late in the game

I am trying to remember who the worst ump for the Jays was. There was a guy, late 90s early 2000s I think, just brutal on the Jays. Bad strike zone, different zone for the two teams. Always wanted to throw someone out.

Oh and Buckners an idiot. Much like Hernandez the other night.

Yeah, this is beyond stupid. Bring in a real closer already.

At least they won this one.

Wayyyyyyyy too close for a game that had the starter take a no-no into the 8th.

Cecil is not a closer. And that ump should get on the next bus outta town.

If there's any such thing as a disappointing win, this is it. Other than the win this game was disgraceful on so many different levels; from the nearly blown save to the behaviour of the umpires. Specifically one C.B. Bucknor.

Bottom of 1st inning Bautista gets hit by the Orioles pitcher(with Showalter you never know if it was intent or not), then home plate umpire CB Bucknor warns both benches. Gibby comes out asking WTF did my team do, and Bucknor ejects Gibby for no reason. Bucknor proceeds to miss strike and ball calls as per usual for him, then in the top of 8th inning Osuna hits Adam Jones on 3-1 count, and because Bucknor is a terrible, terrible umpire he ejects Osuna and Hale(acting manager) due to the previous warning. No pitcher is going to hit a batter on purpose to bring the tying run to the plate, but because Bucknor is terrible he doesn't realize that. Jays should file a complaint against him.

MLB needs to get rid of Bucknor. He has been terrible forever.
