It feels like they're battling against some greater power though. It's never going to be enough. The building itself will collapse if the Flames get too close to tying it.

Why are Diaz and Engelland on this team still. They are terrible at hockey and a complete liability whenever they are on the ice.

How about Backlund and Colborne out there? That is 2/3 of the best 3rd line in the league right there I hope Backlund is locked up long term this year.

I turned it off to go to bed after the 5th goal. Got the push notification for the Flames third goal. Sat down and turned the TV back on. I should know better.

What a frustrating game. Aside from the first period, the Flames have played a pretty solid game, and the score is in no way indicative of the play. But the stupid curse is fighting them every step of the way, and it just won't let them gain any traction.
