The problem I have with RATM and that whole angry rock genre is that it only targets one part of the Flames audience...the younger male. It kind of ignores all the kids, families, women, older people (ie. season ticket holders) that are there too, and that you want to attract. The Dome is best when it's a cross-section of people attending.
With all the drunk rednecks and amped-up bros fighting each other in the stands, I think there's already a little too much anger at the Dome. I'm not saying you have to play Happy Happy Joy Joy as your goal song, but it would be nice if the atmosphere was a little more loose and fun.
Sleep Now in the Fire sounded OK to me. So far, it's the best choice IMO. It has some energy, and the timing of the chosen clip wasn't awkward. I am eager to hear if How Do You Like Me Now is chosen vs. Phoenix, though.

Not sure if Celine Dion or Neil Diamond has a "fire-themed" song, though. If we're looking for home-grown talent maybe we can take a look through KD Lang's songbook?
Sleep Now in the Fire will be getting my vote. Great song, and perfect for the Flames. Anybody know if they've used Jimi Hendrix's "Fire" yet? If Rage doesn't win, that song would be next on my list.
Monster Truck still has my vote, but I have to admit that RATM is pretty damn awesome.
