I like Ben Hanowski. Heady player who does the small things well. I really see some guys that could fill in on the big club once the free agents are sent out in trades. Hanowski easily replaces Jackman. Granlund could step in and replace Cammalleri. Obviously not to the same extent, but in the same role. Stempniak is the wild card. Could Ferland develop into that player? I'd hate to shift Knight away from center, but could he be a candidate? It's nice to look at the farm and see some guys that have that potential to step in and not hurt the club. Great stuff.

It sounds like they are just going for it right now. They sense weakness and just attack relentlessly.

It's the first time I can remember in a LONG time that any Flames or Flames affiliate plays like this. It's nice to see.

Uh oh. Running into issues now.

Brady Lamb playing a little stupid. Takes a penalty while Heat are killing one leading to that 5-3 and Marlies goal. Gets out of the box and immediately takes another penalty.
