Hopefully that catch sparks the team a little bit.
Tough inning for Ray. 24 pitches, a walk, a hit, and two warning track shots. Only gave up 1 run though.

He’s lost a couple miles on the fastball. Seems pretty clear he’s wearing out. I’d be surprised if he makes it through six.

0-2 on the 9 hitter and Ray throws one way out of the zone and it gets hit out to centrefield.

What the hell was that?!
A pitcher who walks and ton and you can work the count with. What have the Jays continued to do? Swing at garbage on the first pitch for pop outs and weak groundballs.
That was embarrassing baseball and why this team is trending to be on the outside looking in.

Why didn't Springer run on that?? I've only been watching baseball seriously for 5-6 years, so maybe I'm missing something?

Ya know, I don't even know what to say about this team anymore. I've never seen a team go from unbeatable to completely ####ing useless so fast and so far.
1st and 3rd, nobody out and your meat of the order up. Vladdy does what he does when he's in useless mode and pounds the 1st pitch right into the dirt. Somehow numb nuts at 3rd doesn't score while they turn a double play and then Bo does what he does when he's useless and can't clutch up.
Either white hot and crushing teams or completely pathetic and useless with no in between.

Lol and then there is Teo who just hacks at anything within a foot of the plate when he goes cold. He's either in a 12 for 20 stretch or a 2 for 20 stretch it seems.

In fairness though, there was nobody out and Vladdy hit a grounder right to the 3rd baseman. If Springer goes, and Donaldson throws home, he is dead in the water.
And then everyone is saying 'why the hell would he take that risk with none out?
