Ok. I know it's early. But Flexen had an ERA of almost 7 coming in to this game. And through 2 innings the Jays have been retired on 18 pitches with one soft single...

It feels like mediocre (and worse) pitchers can comfortably bank on their starts against the Blue Jays to make a case for raises in the offseason.

Frustrating the Rockies pitcher threw nothing but junk with 1st base open but both Schneider and Vladdy were swinging away.

Need a better hitting approach with runners on base.

Absolutely, the pitches Vladdy swung at were never strikes at any point. He’s just guessing and swinging away at this point.

Lol suns up the season so far. Blue Jays #2 and #3 hitter can't bring runners in from second and third then colorados #8 hitter makes them pay

It was so obvious the Rockies were happy to put him on first. Take the walk and let the next guy face some hittable pitches.

Good job by Ryu to battle through that inning. Need to keep his team close because there's just not a lot of pop in the lineup right now with some key guys out.

Atta boy Belt.

Proof is in the pudding. Vlad needs to hit 7th or 8th in this lineup. There are some players swinging the bat but Vlad kills every rally it seems.

Yeah the bottom of the lineup always gets some rallies going and it seems to die when it gets to vladdy. He's been acting like a 7-8 hitter for awhile now
