Shout out to the ump giving the Nats closer some terrible calls. Even though he was all over the place and couldn't locate. So annoying.

But seriously. #### Vlad. Could've put money on him pounding the ball into the ground and then getting fake frustrated at himself. If you don't like it Vlad change your damn approach. You're absolutely terrible right now.

3.5 back, it’s pretty much done, just too big of a hole to climb out of against teams you don’t play against. What a disappointment of a season. Vladdy and Manoah being what they were just wasn’t something the Jays could overcome.

Tough offseason ahead. I would think there’s a decent chance Vladdy will go, someone will probably be willing to pay the money for his potential.

The Bichette injury will finally extinguish our chances and I’m sure management will try to use it as an excuse but the issues with the team were obvious long before Bichette went down.

This team (management and position player core) needs to have a chainsaw rather than a scalpel taken to it.

They play the Rangers 4 times. However, I have a hard time seeing them win that series.

I had written Vladdy off after 2020 but 2021 happened. It’s clear that was a mirage.

The Jays should build around Bo. But will Bo want to be a Jay long term?

Thanks missed that in my look over the schedule. They would need a sweep in that series, 3 of 4 wouldn’t get it done.

Look at who "Protected" Vladdy in his MVP year it was Marcus Semien. Teams have been able to pitch around Vladdy and he doesn't have enough patience to lay off those pitches. When Semien was behind him Vlad saw more quality pitches as teams didn't want to walk him. I'm hoping the Jays lock up Bo long term and move on from Vladdy.

Didn't Semien bat second or leadoff when Springer was injured and Vlad was 3 or 4? When the lineup really got going in August it was Springer/Semien/Guerrero/Bichette/ Hernandez as the top 5.

But I think your point stands, they had guys in front and behind him. The current lineup is really weak behind him. I also wonder how much Confidence he gained smashing bombs in Dunedin which had that right center Jetstream and than Buffalo after. Those hard hit home runs to right center seem to have disappeared.
