As much as i hate to admit it,i was actually sad seeing the post game interviews with Draisaitl and Larrson on the Oilers Twitter. They are just young guys with so much pressure on their shoulders and are just beaten like Eyore. The human in me feels like its almost abuse playing there.
I’m sure Draisaitl is happy to collect his $8.5 million a year and sleeps just fine at night.
Larsson never asked to play for Edmonton, let alone get traded to a team with a buffoon for a GM...
Exactly yes, the publication ban has been lifted. That has been crafted and sitting in his draft folder for a week now, no way he pumped that out since the end of the game.
It really is creepy how the media is controlled up there.This is example 1a) and that's saying something... though the warning shots have been subtle the last two weeks up there.

Since the article says "the Great Turtle Race of 2018" I'd say at least been in the draft folder since December.
Going back to that topic about about realistic trade for McDavid, yes I do agree if a trade was to occur, it would have to an Eastern Conference team.
I wonder if the talent-rich Nashville would consider tearing down their well-built team to extend their compete window alot longer. They have the assests, but no way it would happen.

Larsson looks like he's about to burst into tears at any moment, putting all the blame on his own shoulders. Guess what Adam? It's the Oilers, losing is deeply seated in the DNA of the organization you play for, and there is not a damn thing you as a player can do to save the Edmonton Oilers. What you need to do instead is to try as hard as humanly possible to get out of there.
