Borucki gets 3 games for throwing at Kiermaier.
Manfred's MLB is stupid. Borucki gets 3 games for handling things on the field the way baseball has always handled things. A beanball to the back. It wasn't at the head, knees, or any other sensitive area. Right in the middle of the back. And now a guy in and out of the lineup is losing 3 days pay for doing what he felt needed to be done.
And needs to be said every time a BS Manfred suspension comes down. The Astro's players got nothing for cheating for 3 seasons and winning a garbage championship.

While we are at it. Could we please let teams challenge strikes and balls. I’m not talking every single pitch but maybe 2 to 3 challenges a game. So annoying watching ump eff things up in absolutely critical situations.

So Springer is slashing .155/.268/.238/.506 with 1HR and 2RBI since August 12th. He's obviously been slumping...but woof.
I know he's been hurt/hurting but he still needs to be better than that. Lets go on one of those hot streaks, eh George?

The game is already way too slow. There’s only one answer if you don’t like human error for balls and strikes and I’m not there just yet.

Jays first running on base is starting to hurt them as of late. It should be a philosophical thing where under no circumstances can you let the first runner on. Last series it was the walk primarily.

It would be nice if one border line call could go our way.
Matz is getting squeezed big time.
It also sucks that the 1-2 hitters for the Jays are hitting <.200 over the last 10 games...

Matz doesn't have it today, and with a better bullpen should be pulled right now. But it's six of one, half dozen of the other and either way they're screwed here.

No one has had it for a few games now. Manoah gutted his way through it but... yeesh. This is a hell of a way to lose a playoff battle.

Yeah, it was nice they caught momentum, but these few games, even the wins, have been a struggle. Pitching hasn't been good, but neither has batting.
