Any one been out on the roads this morning? We are supposed to make our way in to Calgary from the foothills area and all the highway and road cameras are looking super snowy and icy.

They aren't too bad. A little slicker than one might expect, but nothing too crazy.

Slid a few times at 5:30 this morning on semi major routes. I’d guess things would be mostly clear by this afternoon.

I now retract this statement. Been at work for a while now, and the accidents/collisions are starting to really pile up. The roads are slick. Go slow, be safe.

Yes....this is the worse kind of snow. Wet, heavy and slippery as hell.
The drive to work this morning was pretty treacherous.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
It was my fault too; I took the snow plow off our truck yesterday.
We decided to head into the city as our 6 year old was invited to her first laser tag birthday party. At 11ish, the highways and roads were super sketchy, but it wasn’t as bad on the way home. As it cools off this evening it is going to get very slick, so take care out there if you need to be on the roads.
