Expected. This is what happens when you can't get 1 run in the 10th.

Can a future manager of this team teach this club how to bunt?

Schneider has not and apparently will not.

This game is a microcosm of everything bad (and some good) that has gone on this season.

Perhaps the frustration level has peaked as we see our playoff hopes begin to slip away.

Because Laureano is also in fire today, was 2 for 3 with 2 walks.

Funny how both Calhoun and Laureano were DFA'd this season. Cleveland picked them up as warm bodies. And they just curb stomped the Jays this series

So Jays had a runner on 2nd and non out in the 7th, 9th, and 10th and couldn’t score a run

Hopeless and incompetent

Don’t know how you hunt with a runner on second and get the guy thrown out. Screw you Biggio.

Pinch running for Schneider bit them in the ass but this really was a case of a total team failure.

Guerrero should not be seen as a franchise foundational player. He doesn’t play a premier position and he no longer even plays it well. He’s lost a step. He isn’t clutch. He is a good player but any team that builds around him is built on quicksand.

It’s pretty presumptuous at this point to say that there is a soft spot in the schedule. Someone needs to remind the Jays that games aren’t won on paper. You have to actually show up and deliver, if you want to win.

For a lot of teams, we might just be the soft spot in their schedule.

While they certainly aren’t eliminated they will need to become the hottest team in baseball at this point, likely would take something like 22-9 to get comfortable about making it. Nothing is showing me this team is ready to go in a tear, and injuries may also just get them. I suspect they start to fold the tent as a team here soon, they just don’t seem resilient or tough, I hope I’m wrong though.

Two chances to walk it off with a runner on 2nd and no one out and these morons can't even get the runner to 3rd base.

Hopelessly pathetic.

Yeah, they're not on a playoff level right now, by any means. Vladdy is nothing this season, unfortunately.

This team appears to be done like dinner, just don’t have the hitting to succeed. Unfortunate as the pitching has been pretty great from almost all starters…

Luckily Texas is still spiraling, and they play lots of games against Seattle and Houston and overall have a much tougher schedule. Plus they still play a 4 game series vs Texas too.

Jays still have a good shot, but they need to get on a roll through this next stretch.

This team reeks like the Flames did last year.

I need to pick new clubs to cheer for.

Setting up to be a very interesting contract negotiation. They should film the whole thing and make a show of it.
