I know I'm not the only one who plays four, five, six seasons of Dynasty. This expanded contract format is a HUGE step towards realistically building/managing a cup winner. EA gets my thanks, for sure!
A friend and I are on our tenth season of be a gm.

Stamkos and Okposo are entering their declines...

Is the player potential still as insane as before? From NHL10, I remember Stasny, Doughty, Stamkos, Okposo, and the two Johnsons being complete beasts (Sometimes surpassing Crosby/Ovechkin) in 2-4 years.

I only really play Be a Pro, so I'm hoping that there are enough changes in game play and non game play areas to justify me buying it.

I think I'll wait for reviews before rushing out to replace 10.

The physics engine alone is enough, IMO. I haven't had so much fun hitting players since '96 checking guys into the bench.

Definitely agreed. The new physics system(s) they've put into body checking add an incredible sense of...spontaneity. Hits playout in so many different ways now. Couple that with the way the puck reacts more realistically to individual things like sticks and skates, and there's just an incredible amount of new situations that arise.

I can't wait for the whole game. What is it? 12 more days?

I really like the new physics. Most of my grievances will likely be fixable when I can play around with the sliders.

The only complaint I have is how the damn play-by-play says "Niemin" some times.

I'm on my 4th season (NHL10), got Stamkos in the summer after season 1. He's an absolute machine. Him & Brassard are my top 2, score-whenever-they're-on-the-ice, guys.

I went back to NHL10 and played a couple community eashl games with dobbles. The gameplay in NHL11 feels so much better. The hustle button is a game changer and not in a bad way.

In my tenth season, I have Stamkos signed on a 6 year deal for 7.5 million.

He's 97 overall with C potential across the board. 99 Speed, Acc, Agility, Endurance and Durability. 92 Checking, 90 aggression, 91 toughness. 99 deking, deflections, offensive awareness, passing, Mid 90's power and high 90's accuracy for each shot.

Okposo is a lowly 92 overall in comparison.

Hedman is 95 overall. Kills guys.

EASHL Improvements found here

Sounds fantastic.

Jersey customization is a great addition, meaning now no two teams need to look alike. Similar to our offline creator you have full control over your logo, colors, equipment, etc. to really make your club stand out in the EASHL.

Speaking of top clubs, we’ve also added some glory by introducing banner raising and on-ice art to reward the best of the best.

This year in the EASHL you start off as a Free Agent, and are free to play Drop-In Games to get a feel for the game, as well as start to grow your player.

but in previous years that was possible as well to play OTP games, without having an EASHL team or does it mean if someone asks you to play one game with their club they can invite you in?
