Sure.
22 is probably the absolute max number of people we can fit, as that would mean 5 on 5, with 5 subs each (so two lines each), and 2 goalies.
We'll see how many from Monday's group actually come. Paul wasn't certain on the number.

Sounds like the weather will be great today. Sunny and plus 20 degrees all afternoon.
At this point the only concern is having too many people, but we can deal with a few extra bodies if need be.

oh I will be able to "deal" with them haha. I also do need to make myself a reminder for that goalie stick. haha

Well if we have 20 players and 2 goalies, we're stuck with an awful lot of subs. I think 17 is the ideal number, but I'm not going to turn people away.

If we do have 20ish players show up we're going to have to do something about jerseys. It's too hard to keep track of who is on your team with that many people. Everyone should bring a light and dark.

I have a street hockey goalie stick. I can bring that, too.
In terms of the large roster, perhaps we could have a four team mini tournament
(four teams in round robin, winner vs. winner, losing vs. losing)
Just a thought.

If we really get that many players, we can still fit them in, so long as people sub out at the right time, and not hog the ice time.
I used to play in this other casual game gym, and when we had that many people show up, we'd time about 3 minutes, and then the next stoppage in play, i.e. when the ball went out of bounds or the goalie grabbed it, somone on the bench would say 'line change' and all the players on both teams would change. People would wait a maximum of 6 minutes in between shifts, and it kept everyone fresh.
Yeah, occasionally, there'd be end to end action with no stoppages for a few minutes, but usually when that happened, players were tired enough to sub on the fly.
