Jets have had trouble with elite tight ends, did a good job on Gates but I think Manning/Clark can tear them apart. If the Colts get up early the Jet have absolutely no chance of coming back.

As long as Colts can stop the running game; they will advance to the Superbowl

Just a quick question what TE's have given them trouble? Gonzales had a TD but only 30 something yards. Dallas Clark had like 60 yds in 3 quarters so I guess that is a little trouble. The only receiver who has done anything against the Jets is Wes Welker and he did a lot 190 yds I believe.

Sanchez should guarantee the win a la Joe Namath.

Which would be the bigger upset?

I think the Jets have a legit shot to beat Indy this week – but the fans are just out of control in the NYC metro area. You know how the line ‘act like you’ve been there before’ – when a guy scores a goal/touchdown/hits a HR, whatever?

Well I think the Jets fans should maybe try to implement a little bit of that strategy. They are calling up Mike Francesa on WFAN NY right now and just going ape-crap about him ‘not giving them respect’...... and frankly, they sound like ######s.

Rex Ryan has kind of done that.

I don't think a Jet win would be anywhere near the upset Superbowl 3 was. At the time the AFL wasn't even considered as being in the same league as the NFL.

I think the Jets defence is damn good, better than Baltimore's and that they will be able to keep the Colts under 20 points. I also think the Colts defence is a lot better than what the Chargers have and that they won't be letting the Jets get more than 10. The close score may give the Jets a few things like being able to stick with the run and not be forced into having to throw and let Freeney and Mathis go at Sanchez. But the Colts are pretty damn good at winning these close games themselves. Probably moreso this season than in previous ones where they really did have to rely more on their offence to put up points to win.

In superbowl 3 the Jets were 19 point dogs (I think).

If they advance to SB 44 they should be 4-7 point dogs.

That does not take into consideration that gambling/gamblers are more sophisticated 40 years later, but I would guess that SB 3 would be a bigger upset than the hypothetical SB 44

Predicting a jets and saints super bowl final. Honestly, I just really dont want to see Brett Favre make it since im not a fan and what better then to have the jets make it, the team Favre couldn't even get into the playoffs last year.

Reggie Wayne Vs Darrelle Revis... That's a spicy meatball.

Peyton and the O=Line Vs... The Jet's front 7 and Rex Ryan's swag.

Free and Math Vs Tom Greene, Sanchez and his 3 left feet-D'Brick, Fany and Mangold.

I think Peyton finds a way to win. Him and Clark hook up for clutch plays.

IND 31 NY J 24

Farve Vs Peterson / Childress Vs An underrated def. Sharper will be fired up and Vilma is playing with a purpose. But do they have the answer for either Offensive game plan?

The Williams Bros Vs NO Guards. This will prove a lot I think. Will brees be able to conduct magic with those two collapsing the Pocket for Edwards and the Mullet Super Man. Or will the two all pro guards for NO Give their General time?

Minne 34 NO 24

I think that this will be the game in which Favre self-destructs.
Saints 24 Vikings 9

Sanchez reveals that he is still the same rookie QB that threw 5 INT's against the stingy Buffalo Bills D.
Colts 21 Jets 10

Colts 24 Jets 16

The Jets will have to keep Indy at 17 points or less for even a hope of winning the game due to their lack of offense. This will be a close game. New York has an incredible defense to match the Colts high octane offense. Colts win by 1 possession.

Saints 27 Vikings 24

Colts-Saints Superbowl! Should be a battle all day. I like the Saints at home in a very close matchup. I'm looking forward to see how each defense comes out and plays Favre and Brees.

LETS GO COLTS!!!!!!!!!!!!
