Yes, it is definitely working now! In my messaging back and forth to hilltopseer through renaming territories he said he got a WP7 OTW update this morning. Is that true? If not, is it any clearer yet when the update will go through?

Reading the territory name messages was / is hilarious. Those territories should be flagged somehow for ease of gossip.

Lame suggestion time - if you nuke someone, that territory should become a wasteland for a week or something. No new troops can be accumulated, even by you.

That isn't lame, it actually what we're planning for the diamond attack. Not timed though. Doing the timing on a bunch of territories would eat up a lot of servers and load time for the game.

Just wipe out everyone but you down to 0.

Weird thing happened today. I was on the bus and realized I would be passing through 5 enemy territories. Took the first one. Took the second one. And when I went to attack in the third, it said "Can't attack using this version". I had to get off the bus, update to the latest version, take the territory and wait for the next bus.

One thing I've learned is to take the road less travelled. If I take a major highway, those territories are gone within a week. But if I take the back roads, I can put the game down for months and come back and they are still mine.

Devil, you must have been playing when one of the programers made the switch on our server.

We found some players were intentionally not updating so they could continue to use exploits found within previous versions. We added some anti-spoofing coding to prevent people from faking their phone's location in the last few updates so we wanted to make sure everyone was using the more recent versions.

What about an attack where you could nuke the territory you are currently in, wiping everyone down to 0 (except yourself), but also taking out say 50% of all troops in the surrounding 8 territories? Such an attack would obviously require massive resources and may even require time limits, like you can only detonate this weapon once in a 30 day period or something. Just an idea.

I think it should also wipe yourself out, as it creates a MAD situation where you have to think long and hard about using it. It's almost too easy to attack, because if you have enough territories, it just doesn't matter how many resources you use.

I thought I saw something in-game that said there was a new attack available, but I can't see it anywhere in the attack option. Was I dreaming?

It was an April Fools Day attack.

The Rebecca Black Attack. The message went something like: "Rebecca wants to jump in her tank but can't decide which seat to take. Attack fails. April Fools."

That attacked only fooled me 3 or 4 times.

I am starting to have the same problem again as before where if I manipulate the map the grid goes away and my gps track gets stuck on one spot. The only way to fix this is to turn the Iphone off and on. It happened about 4 times yesterday and 3 times today.

You're running the most current version of the game right?
