Really? I would be looking at my bare wrist if that were the case. I wear a watch ALL the time.

Oh, I've had my ass kicked in sports many a time. I just meant that I've never been punched out at the bar or anything, despite the fact that I've warranted it on several occasions.

I just found a crack in our windshield. Looks like a rock hit the lower portion and now there is a foot long crack.

The van (the wife drives it) is only 2 months old. So annoying.

Does anybody not have a cracked windshield in Alberta?

Exactly. Who has a watch anymore? My cell phone's time is always right and changes on its own.

There's a really nice lady at my work who says "Hi" to me every morning, and uses my name. I feel really bad because I have no clue what her name is, nor do I remember introducing myself to her.

I agree 4x4 - I don't miss my watch at all, don't carry a cell phone either. My quality of life increased a great deal because of 3 simple things:

1. Not worrying about what time it was
2. Not carrying a cell phone
3. Not paying attention to the news

Well I need to know what time it is for class and work. I'd rather not know what time it is either.

You must have an uncanny biological clock to be able to watch sporting events.

"invite" her to a function (lunch date, goofy email chain...something), then ask her what her last name is so you can send her an email.

Just walk up to her and slam a kiss on her lips, then say "Now that we know each other better, wahts your name . . . like I care"

Then roll your eyes and walk off.

I always try to keep mine in good repair. I replaced the windshield twice on my car that I owned from Sep 2000 - Sep 2009. I haven't had a cip (yet) on the new car purchased in Jul 2009.
