goto "more" turn "Cellular Network" to "ON" if it is already on, turn it to off then on again. go back to "play"
it should say "You use the cellular network for the audio stream" under "FStream"

I think I'm a little disappointed in Shazam.
This was the app or feature that I heard the most about & was the most excited about before getting my iPhone.
I haven't had the opportunity to actually use it in the real sense (find the song name/artist without knowing it first), but I have tested it a few times by just simply playing a few mp3 tracks on my computer and seeing how it worked.
So far, not many are registering. My taste in music could be a considered a little off mainstream, but nothing too extreme.
What is everyone's experience with this app?

I've had it listen to the TV to find out the name of a song in an ad or on a show and it's usually pretty good at finding the song title.

Very rarely does it fail me. If the song is in itunes it should be findable.

that app is great, i just used it at the Habs game to figure out a song title they were playing in the intro.

I find it to be almost flawless. Even in a noisy environment it can find the song 95% of the time.

I was at the Metallica concert in Edmonton last December, and the song they play before The Ecstasy Of Gold was something I had heard before, but wasn't sure where it was. The crowd was extremely loud, the song was a little muffled, and the app still picked it up and told me what it was (Heavy Metal Thunder by Saxon).

Tweetie 2 came out yesterday! I love the original Tweetie, but it has some drawbacks. Now the new app is out and it improves on a great many things.
- websites can display in landscape
- things can be loaded for offline viewing
- mark your position so you don't have to scroll down to find where you left off
- in-app notification if you have new tweets, mentions or direct messages
- Search your timeline
- post videos
- @username picker
- preview short urls
It's a new app, not an update and it costs $3. My only gripe is the bubble theme (that made it look like an ichat window) is not in there. Hopefully with an update.
