Also, the Helping Hand commercial from Shaw almost drove me to kill.....

The Subway monkey commercials are pretty damn stupid. That Telus Hippo one is the worst commercial I have ever seen in my life. Seriously, it's a good thing it's only on TV because if I ever heard that on the radio while I was driving I would crash my car.

Don't forget Timmy's! Their commercials are always kinda subpar(at least IMO), but the last few have just been epically bad lately. I swear the marketing team they hire is geriatric, the humour's just sooo outdated, it reminds me of commercials from the 80's.

Cialis, where they just go on and on about the possible side effects, is this product even safe? Lux windows,spence diamonds,alarm force, they're all pretty annoying. I agree the panago guy is annoying, the first one was ok.

What about some ads that are annoying but you can never remember what they are so you just sit through the commercial every time to find out. I'm thinking it's intentional so you sit and watch the whole ad.

I'm sure it's been said but that freaking skin tag commercial creeps me out. It's so disgusting I have to change the channel immediately or leave the room whenever it comes on. I was happy in my blissful ignorance of not knowing that what the hell skin tags were.

Telus hippo commercial has taken it to a brand new level.
Before, their commercials just ruined my mood every time those annoying commercials came on, but with the hippo, I might actually just punch someone in the face if they're nearby. I have the mute the sound and look somewhere else.

the telus commercials would be less insufferable (they would still absolutely freaking suck though) if they would mix them up instead of showing the same one 20 times a game for a month. I mean they have about 12 years of the same commercial to choose from, so they could probably play a different one every commercial break for a couple seasons before they repeated. Or they could just hire an ad firm with some imagination and make some Go-Daddy-like commercials to make up for it

Panago guy really sucks too, and got old 5 years ago. Not once have I cooked or consumed a pizza with my hardhat on, and I have never been watching the game and started fantasizing about going to the Mediteranian either.

Let's face it, Canadian commercials all suck, period. Not interesting like European ads seem to be. There just seems to be way less creativity here than anywhere else.

The Fan 960 management should track how much exposure their advertisers lose, when I mute the computer/car radio immediately when I hear:

I would say on average the sound stays off for 10 minutes or more, until I get around to turning it back up. I mean, those POS commercials are actually costing the adverts that follow them a lot of exposure (at least in my case).

The pop-up Toyota ad I seen on Sports Net last night DURING the game.

"It's my back alley!" commercials both on the radio and TV, someone seriously needs to take some napalm to that place on a Saturday night.

100%. And the humour's so out of date and vanilla. It always seems like Canadian commercials would rather be touching and family oriented than funny.
