Minor brag . . . . . this photo below, "A Moment In The Life of a Milan Cafe" was published in Photo Life magazine in September as a winner in their "Reflections competition.

Through two days we went back twice to the same seats outside the is cafe and I took about 14 images I believe. My intent was to try and capture the barista on the left staring out the window. The lady in the foreground, however, in the Italian fashion of stopping at places like this for a quick gush of coffee, stepped to the window just as the traffic light turned, the barista turned and the waiter also stepped into the frame. Lots of stories in that picture . . . . . interestingly, it was taken with only a Sony Cybershot, something I could stuff in my pocket while walking around. Sometimes equipment doesn't matter.

This is a pic I took a couple of years ago in D.C. which I really like. It's a young couple who were pushing their child in a pram. They're reflected in the black stone of the Korean War Memorial, which has the phrase 'Freedom is not free' engraved into it. Also, in the background of the reflection, behind the couple, is the Lincoln Memorial. I feel it's a really symbolic pic, and I figured now that there's some new energy in the White House it's appropriate to post.

Some of my pictures in Vietnam, this was one of the main roads. This was when Vietnam won the semi-final match of the AFF Suzuki Cup it was around 10 years i think since they were in the soccer finals.

Underwater fashion photos taken at a strobist meet in Lethbridge on Sunday.

(I added the fish later in photoshop)

We also did some portraits for the U of L swim team.

Nice photos! Love the first one. I bet those took some planning.

Here's one of the moon tonight.

Took this photo in London a couple of weeks ago. Thought it was a neat juxtaposition of old vs. new.

Abby and her shadow, in perfect symmetry, patiently listen for mice under a crusty, wind-swept snowpack.

Below, remnants of summer, snow crusted sunflowers

Below . . . . . . on a Fall climb and a scene right out of Call of the Wild . . . . we were being watched.

An eerie setting, near Chester Lake, K-Country
