Unreal comeback. It started about 3 shifts before the first goal. Flames hemmed the Oilers in. Fluke goal sure but momentum was swinging and then the pp. Typical Bouchard or Nurse brain dead in third goal.
Wolf spectacular in 3rd and OT after a questionable goal to Mangipane.
Some solid shootout attempts, not sure why Kadri was so far down the list but whatever.
And yes, another embarrassment of a penalty call. Classic McDavid to initiate contact or grabbing an arm and then either snapping his head or body back or stop skating to appear being restricted. Replays were few and far between because it was a bad look for McDavid drawing a weak penalty.
Solid solid effort.
NHL rewards the Flames by playing btb. Like why? Even if they were playing in Sweden to start the year there’s a say between games. 3 games in less than 72h is a joke.
