The women's final between Rybakina and Sabalenka should be very good, two players who can knock the stuffing out of the tennis ball. I don't have high hopes for the men's final, I think Novak is going to assert his dominance yet again. Prove us wrong Stefanos.

lol - I'm alive and well, just too many late nights. Gonna have to watch this one later, congrats to Aryna, she had a real struggle with the serving yips and it was tough to watch, glad to see she has overcome it (17 aces to 7 double faults over three tough sets are good numbers).

Pretty good championship point in the men's doubles as the Aussie tandem of Jason and Rinky send the fans home happy...

As feared, Novak is dominating this match and if Tsitsipas doesn't raise his level immediately, it's going to be over in a hurry.

When Novak wins the first set in a grand slam final, he's 13-3

Tsitsipas had a set point, but played way too tentative of a point and Novak holds. 5-5 in set 2 as we play on.
Edit: Captain Obvious says Stef needs to win this 2nd set tie-break to have any chance.
Edit 2: Novak was up 4-1 in the second set tie-break, Stef gets it back to 4-4 only to lose three straight points. Novak up two sets to love, Just too many unforced errors from Stef especially on the forehand.

Tsitsipas breaks to start set 3.
Edit: Of course, the greatest returner ever to play tennis breaks straight back.

3rd set also needs a tie-break.
Edit: Make it a perfect 10 for Novak. 6-3 7-6 7-6

Tsitsipas didn't trust his game in the tie break. His forehand didn't seem to work in the second set TB, which caused him to play more timid in the third set TB.
Still, amazing feat to get to 10 AUS open wins. Nole is truly the king down under.

Tsitsipas had his chances but once again Novak was better in the clutch points and in tie breaks (stop me if you've heard this before).
That was a relatively stress free tournament for Djokovic, I can't imagine he doesn't win another 1-2 AO titles.
