Do we have a thread about which teams passing flames help get to 22? Capitals, senators and sabres it looks like.

That’s top 10 (and a lotto ball) with a chance to bounce back next year.

Bottom 11 teams get a shot at Bedard.

People are going to be really disappointed when Bedard is not the next McDavid. He's not going to be the next McDavid, he doesn't have that speed. He's going to be more like a cross between Sakic and Bossy. Kid is going to score a ton of goals with that wicked release and wrister. Pair him with great passer, say like a Johnny Hockey, and the sky is the limit.

Yeah unfortunately I think this can be locked now. They’re picking somewhere between 14th and 20th barring a great playoff run or a lotto win. Bye bye Bedard, we hardly knew ye. I really, really, really hope I don’t have to be cursing you for your entire career.

“Unfortunately”…is it unfortunate that we are winning? Would you rather us not have a decent shot to make the playoffs? Even if we lost every single game for the past month, our odds of getting Bedard would be less than we currently have of making the playoffs.

He doesn’t have the speed, you’re right. Coming out of their respective draft years, Bedard is better at everything else. Jury is out on how it will all translate though.

Quick 8pts for Bedard in two games of round 1 against the Blades. Pats up 2-0.
