72 pitches and 7 innings for Gausman so far. Pretty impressive.

What was the slide ….

Seriously slid into Boggart trying to get back to the base, and high , and off the bag

So weird

I legitimately feel like I'm taking crazy pills. Are the Jays games just not available on the radio??
I can't get it on any of the online radio players that MLB lists

It requires subscription. Or you can tune in via the TuneIn app which has a free trial for 2 weeks.

Got a little dicey at the end there, but the boys hung on. Good first win for Gausman, and thats 2 outta 3 for the Jays in Fenway.

The pitching has been the story so far. Really nice work from Manoah, Gausman, Berrios and the bullpen so far.

Did they send Gausman out to start the 9th?? Great to see Romano keep the save streak going. 7 saves in 8 wins in the first two weeks. Incredible stuff.

And haven’t lost a series yet! Just keep winning series and they’ll be in great shape after a tough opening schedule to start.

Yes, he threw exactly 1 pitch which got hit for a single so Montoyo sent Romano in then.

Chapman with an absolute gamesaver in the 9th. What a play to field that missile, check the runner, recover his bobble and still throw an absolute laser to get the out comfortably at first in that situation.

The Jays are 8-5 which is great considering:

Their big bats haven’t been at their best,

Their pitching has been just okay,

The new guys (Tapia, Chapman, etc) have taken time to adjust,

And they’ve already battled some injuries

They’ve found a way to grind out games and get W’s though, which is generally what good teams do even when they don’t have their A game. And haven’t lost a series yet.

The MLB app has audio for every single game for something like $3.50 a month. If you listen to even a few games a month, I think it's worth it. They also have replays if you miss a game, which is handy.

Blue Jays tied for 1st place in the AL - things look pretty good. In terms of series, they are 3-0-1, which is pretty much exactly how you'd want the season to start. Honestly couldn't ask for too much better.
