Oh FFS

I was gonna say try and get it to within 10 before the 4th, but forget it

Hope this is a one-off. Horrid defense today.

And now Scottie is injured by Embiid stepping on his foot.

Well there you go, task complete for Embiid, he seriously injured somebody. Doesn’t look good for Barnes.

Looks like the series to me if it’s a broken foot. Embiid strikes again.

Frankly I wish there was more of that animosity. I hated when the Raps players like Lowry asked fans to quiet down when Durant reinjured himself. Nobody truly wishes someone is hurt but I was glad he was out. I like the brashness of Philly fans. It’s a real emotion that should be shown in pro sports. We see much less of because of the corporate type getting the tickets.

I think Embiid and Siakam getting fired up is a benefit for the Raps.

I personally like the animosity in pro sports. Not to the extent of hooligans but Philly fans are loud and obnoxious.

Both of these fan bases are intense. I love it, it can make for a great rivalry and a potentially great series.

Emotion in sports is great, I hate the mindset of trying to remove things like to Joey Bats bat flip.

Fred gets fouled out with 10 mins to go...while defensive stalwart harden has zero fouls. Maxey also with zero fouls. lol. embiid with two elbows to the face and Scottie's broken ankle. Job well done refs.

Sixers played pretty-much the perfect game for taking away everything that the Raptors like to do. I'm definitely concerned about FVV's knees not being 100% and not being able to hang with Maxey on the perimeter.

One of my worries was that the Raptors are really inexperienced in terms of non-bubble playoffs, and most of the inexperienced guys really looked it. Scottie was fantastic of course, but Boucher, GTJ, Precious all looked like guys who were playing their first meaningful playoff minutes infront of crowds.

I also don't think they were cheering the injury. The PA guy had just announced Van Vleet fouling out at the worst moment possible. But I also love Philly as a sports town, so I'm definitely biased.
