Two of my favorite days of the year are the time change days, just so nice having the adjustment. Daylight hours in the winter are largely irrelevant to me anyhow, I'm generally commuting in the dark both ways so it doesn't matter. But I'd rather have it lighter earlier in the morning than later in the day during the winter and lighter later in the day during the summer which the time change accomplishes.

Full Daylight Time > DST > Full Standard time for me.
Already gets dark early enough in daylight time for some of our late season camping trips. Don't really want it dark at 6:30 in mid/late September. Sunrise at 4am in peak summer hours would also be wasted (in full standard time).
Winter sucks either way, but would rather a bit of extra light in the afternoon. I'm not in Calgary, but sunsets at 4:30 here are still awful.

If you don’t look at the posting time it’s one long seamless process, year on year on….

Yes I prefer morning sunlight. I think the bill that's stalled in the US moves to permanent daylight time.
But the medical community say standard time is better and you wouldn't disagree with them would you?

I’m team morning light as well.
I just like poking people when they say we need to stop changing time and they really mean permanently move to central standard time.

Daylight saving time is so insufficient these days the clocks change themselves and so does my internal clock.

Pfft. That’s nonsense
You can notice the whinging in passing but live your life, be affected technically but in principle indifferent
I may feel more energetic or tired for a day when whichever time change happens. Sure. The time is whatever it is, and I do what I have to do. Tired or not. *usually tired. Lots of people whinge, you can’t help but notice. You have to change your clocks, you can’t help but notice
TLDR; cute, if that’s what you’re going for

As the sunlight steams into my bedroom robbing me of the last precious hour of sleep, to all the Standard timers, I hope the price of the Blue Hair Special candlelight dinner at 5 pm is worth it.
