Seemed like there was a pretty solid adjustment from Winnipeg that Calgary couldn't respond to. Need this intermission to right the ship. I expect a much better effort in the 3rd. Does the line blender come out in the first game of the season? My gut says maybe.

Should Bennett play center with garbage players or on the wing with better players? He's probably not replacing Monahan, Lindholm or Backlund at center.

In the playoffs, Bennett wasn't playing great with Dube and lucic...he was playing great with Dube. Switch Bennett and Backlund and see what happens.

The speed of Bennett and Dube together made the line work. Replacing Dube with this a Lance Bouma type grinder in Nordstrom completely changes the makeup of what made that line effective.

He also played with Dube. Dube made that line in my opinion, but it was crazy to watch Bennett play more than 2 games in a row with some speed/skill.
Anyways, not the reason for the brutal 2nd period...
