getting into parking is a breeze, leaving parking is a pain in the ass. We always hurry out and still wind up waiting 20 minutes to leave.

Going to my first Cavs game tonight! Any tips for a rookie? How's the food at Spruce Meadows? Any culinary experiences that must be taken in? Are they still doing the parade thingy?

Tips for a rookie? Enjoy yourself! Don't be scared to get loud, this isn't a Flames game. Bang on the aluminium stands during free kicks and corner kicks. If you're in section 200 there will be smoke, but that shouldn't affect anywhere else in the stadium too much.
Can't comment on the food experience outside of the burger and smokies. They aren't special but decent enough for a sporting event. Beer is pricey.

As for the parking - park in the south lot, not the north lot. I notice, for some reason, that the south lot is allowed out quicker than the north one. I waited FOREVER in the north one on Sunday, and when I finally got to the north lot entrance, the south lot was EMPTY.
MillerTimeGFG: Parking in general is in the SW quadrant of Spruce Meadows. You'll see the north and south lots and know exactly what I mean when you arrive there.

South lot it is!
If you see a horde of children in green foothills kits, I'll be the coach in my green Foothills golf shirt as well, so feel free to say hi (and take some children off my hands).

I like the bratwursts, but I just like those regardless of the venue! The beer isn’t cheap, but it’s not unexpected I guess. The Corner Kick bar has old fashioned a as well, and they’re $12 each. Not cheap, but let’s be reasonable…for like $36 you have a pretty good beginning on a long night!

Clunky first half from both sides. Pacific dominated the first 20 or so and Cavalry dominated the last 20 or so. Wasn't expecting a result tonight given Pacific's strong side and the injury bug, so I'm okay with that first half.
Loturi looks very good tonight. Hernandez struggling. Cavalry have really lacked quality once they get near the box and have been awful on attacking set pieces. Hoping Mason and Fisk can enter the game and change that.

Hernandez really showing why he rarely sees the pitch when there's a full strength squad. Way too selfish with his play without the quality when it's needed.

That's a 0-0 draw I'll take every time. Thought an undermanned Cavalry held their own against a very strong side in Pacific.
Crowd sounded good on OneSoccer. Hope all the newcomers enjoyed the game.

I thought that we deserved a goal tonight. Some good chances and we just didn’t capitalize. Strong effort though and a really fun game. No idea what the ref was seeing at some points, but that’s par for the course it seems.
Awesome that the drums made their way to the west side of 200!

Oh and also, I enjoyed the “team of Ledgerwoods” song. Pretty fun night singing!

I believe in the Jays.

It seemed like every key attacking moment fell to Hernandez. Good on him for popping up in the right spots, but he just couldn’t get it done.
Farsi is a beast though, he was a cut above the rest tonight.
It was rocking in 200 again, I really thought we we going to suck a goal in in the 2nd half.

Outside of the last 10 minutes, Klomp continues to impress. Dude looks absolutely solid on the backend, and even got in the box for a chance in the 2nd half.
Also, that field looks absolutely magnificent on TV. The pitch is in top-notch condition and looks like a lush green, low-pile carpet. Never looked better.

We need a few more lefties out there! Loturi I thought had his best game in a Cavs shirt but he needed a left foot a few times there! Farsi was great. Too bad those balls didn’t drop for Mason or Novak
Klomp is a fricken beast. He has the defensive abilities of Zator combined with Waterman’s passing range. I love seeing defenders ping long diagonals.
Happy to get a point with a seriously limited lineup. Hopefully we get a few more bodies healthy for Edmonton. Wish I could travel up there for it but alas not to be

I won't make it myself, but looking forward to Sunday's game. Hope we get a big crew up to Edmonton and that there is no drama with Eddies supporters.

Attendance was 2394 last night. All 3 games have been around the 2400 mark. Given the pandemic over the last 18 months, and the 4th wave looming / already here, that's pretty promising.

My boys had an absolute time last night, and my ears are still ringing from their constant stomping on the bleachers.
I thought Loturi was actually the most threatening with the ball at his feet last night, and I think he'll just get better. He's so elusive, and surprisingly strong for his small frame. Thought Ledge was quite good as well. While he's lost a step or two, his distribution is still really good.
Also, Bustos should be playing at a higher level. He was a handful.
EDIT: South parking lot was awesome...I was out of there in about 10 minutes!

Man I hate Edmonton, but that sucks, really need every team getting some decent attendance. Or move them to Red Deer, what do I care.
