This team is gonna continue to be this much of an embarrassment with the bats in around 90% of their games eh?
Almost no major league calibre hitting on this team. Sad.

Jays 1st rounder Alek Manoah signed for slot value of $4,547,500
Jays 2nd rounder Kendall Williams will forgo his commitment to Vanderbilt and has signed with Jays for just above slot @ $1,547,500 (slot value was $1,403,200)
Excellent news.
Also sounds like they signed that 6'7" 290lb outfielder Nick Neal. Power for days with that kid.

I wonder if the Jays are going to draft first overall next year when this season is all said and done because this team is bad. Spencer Torkelson would look good in a Jays jersey.

Only 3 games ahead of Baltimore and KC for last place. Could happen, especially if the Jays unload Stroman (best starter), Smoak (best OBP) and Giles (best reliever.
They may also unload Sogard, if he keeps playing well there might be a taker looking for depth. Obviously won't return much but would definitely aid in the tank job that appears to be happening.
Torkelson's bat is amazing, but I sure hope he can be moved to the OF. Would kinda suck to draft 1st overall and only get a 1B out of the deal.

I assume Dasan Brown will get signed soon, Atkins conveyed the message that the top three picks wouldn't have been drafted without some assurance of them signing.

So Bo is back and rehabbing in Dunedin. So far thru 4 games he's batting .545 with a 1.415 OPS
Should be back in AAA soon.

Man, I didn't realize Romano had such a live arm. 96 to 98 on the fastball and a pretty nasty slider. Good start for him striking out the 1st two hitters and 3 up 3 down.
