I wouldn't say the Flames are letting the Hawks hang around. They've completely dominated this period. If not for Delia standing on his head, the Flames would be up by 2 or 3 at the very least.

It may be sacrilege to suggest this, but with as difficult as centres are to acquire, I wonder if the Eberle rumors are out there to give another option for the right side on the top line.
Love Backlund, but there is a significant drop off to him. Gives them the option to go to more of a pair philosophy. Monahan/Gaudreau. Lindholm/Tkachuk.
Or, don't mess with whats working.
Or, maybe Jankowski continues his ascent.
