The one pet peeve I've always had about Calgary is they don't boo their team hard enough.

I doubt that. Just like the Montreal game he would have held them in as long as he could before the flood gates opened.

2.

Don’t worry, it’s been a solid team effort on defence. Everyone is nearly equally bad.

PGT thread should be titled "Massacre".

It would be one thing if this was just a one off, since games like this will happen. But this has been manifesting for games in a row, and I'm concerned the team is not gonna have the response you would want in the upcoming games. This likely is who the Flames are gonna be the season; same as the previous seasons - mediocre.

I don't believe it's defense that's the issue. It's puck control that is. When the Flames aren't creating dangerous chances in the offensive zone, or converting on them, and muffing the puck up constantly when setting up, you're gonna spend all game chasing back, and seeing the opposing team press and generate great chances themselves.

7-0 and it's Brodie and Smith's fault. Makes sense.

What the fudge are we going to do after this??

Already seems like ‘had a big meeting behind closed doors’ turning point of the season, which lead to ‘x’.

All I want to see is some give a damn next period. Show some pride in your own building and make something of a game for your fans.

Looking at the pens you see a polished skilled team getting all the little details right, making the most of chances and making it look easy. That is what a contender year in and out looks like, they can take nights off and still win some and save themselves for the stretch.

Take notes flames you got a long road ahead of you. Time to put on your boots and get to work because it ain’t getting any shorter of a journey sitting on your asses.

This is a serious problem.
I said it earlier. It's a big problem that none of these defensemen can get shots through to the net. Gio's game is sliding in this aspect of his game as he struggled last season as well hitting the net.

Can't believe there's still one period to go in this game, lol. Feels like this one's been over since the 1st.

Medicare would be a blessing. They’ve been totally dominated 3 games in a row
