Also, Kuznetsov has been a huge contributor for the caps this post season. I've been massively impressed with his jam and hustle.

Huge PK. That door closed tight once they knew who was knocking. Hahaha.

Kuznetsov has been their best player all series.
He's not unknown, but you don't hear him talked about when the top NHL players are discussed really, but he's definitely up there.

So a puck allegedly goes in the net but isn't called a goal and we're still talking about it to this day, and you're hung up on the fact that we can't prove that Tampa wouldn't have tied it anyways? That's the thing we have to convince ourselves of 14 years later in your eyes?

Scenes when Ovechkin finally makes it to a Stanley Cup final and gets swept by an expansion team.
The Universe is cruel.

They finally figured out a way to make sure Holtby can't stop any of their shots! Can't stop what we don't shoot!

9 minutes left and still a goose egg on the scoresheet for the Bolts.... out with a whimper.
holtby's doing things to get ready for the finals. like knitting some new socks! Cross-stitching an eastern conference banner, some stretches, reading up on cup final history, listening to some classical music.

Oh my god. I have never heard Gary Galley cry this much on live TV before. He is channelling his inner-Drew Remenda

That's it. Pads are too big for goalies. They don't even have to move to save a deflection!

What an amazing final this is going to be. There's always one team that makes it not as exciting, like a repeater, or a recent winner, or just boring team that doesn't have a story.
Ovechkin, one of the greatest goal scorers ever and true character getting there after a whole career of disappointing exits vs an expansion team with a new, southern market drawing ratings that make major American TV shows jealous.
It's an exciting winner this year either way.
