Looks like Fergie is watching the match next to God.

Zero shots on target and not even a half decent look all half for City. Liverpool again putting in the work rate like the first game at Anfield.

If city dont get at least 1 here, and if they cant beat United this weekend

No cl, league wrapped up but cant 'win it' against their buggest rival

Their season goes from potential A, to a B+ or B

As terrible as it is to lose like this in the 1st leg, sure. Whatever you need to tell yourself.

City losing the game isn't a shock. Zero shots on target might be the shock of the year. But as good as tonight was for Liverpool, if the Salah injury is serious then their season is probably over.

I dont know about that, I think City can overturn it at home, they're dominant at home.

As I said earlier, Liverpool can beat City, can they hold that over both legs?

But 3 goals and no away goals conceded? I'll take it.

No doubt City can score three at home. But assuming Salah is fit to play, they will definitely concede at least one. The clean sheet is why I think it's over.

one Liverpool goal and Citeh need five. It's not over yet, but it'll take a miracle.

Pep really has been underwhelming in the CL knock-out games for years now. Deservedly lost with Bayern against Spanish teams for three straight years, then completely tanked against Monaco last year and now this. All the money is sure helpful in the league when you can have guys like B. Silva and Jesus on the bench and available for rotation during the winter ... but in the CL? Against a well-coached team which the right attitude? Nah.

Their PL season has been crazy good, so this campaign surely can't be called a disappointment in any way. But as a whole, it's nothing to gush over either, given the ridiculous spending. Their horrible back-four today cost €160m and they still had Stones/Danilo (combined 86m) on the bench, ffs.

Hats off to Klopp.

Wow, congrats to Locke and Big Chill! I didn't see that coming at all, and thought that City would have enough quality purchased to come through (although I did expect it to be close, which this doesn't look like it was).

Meanwhile Roma outscored Barcelona 3 - 2 but lost the game 4 - 1

I'm hoping for a UEFALONA-UEFADRID final. The reffing would be something else.

I would lose my mind if it was a Bayern/Liverpool Final.
