Monahan looks worse with every passing game. He's simply not skating right. Injury seems to be the most probable explanation, because he's not a lazy player.

Last year almost every time our top line was on the ice, they were dangerous, generating offence. This year: zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz zzzzzzzzzzzz

Monahan is playing like ass, but I have a lot more patience for him to be honest. He signed his deal right away and didn't drag out some bull#### contract fight wanting to be paid an outrageous salary. As silly/right/wrong as it is, he has more rope from me as a result.
I'm still annoyed with both of them though.

This team turns it over everytime they get the puck....can't get it in deep at all. Horrible in the 3rd. I miss Hartley

Sean and Johnny need to step up. Johnny has been noticeably bad. Seems to be trying to do too much himself.

I'm not sure if it's "common" but I'm sure it happens

Well he was offered a contract over market value(slightly) so he had no reason not to sign with haste.

Yup. More of an incidental play, but it's becoming a pattern of bad penalties turning momentum against the Flames
