I wonder if this change could have a positive affect on Mason Raymond? I don't expect him to turn into a 25 goal scorer but he does have some offensive ability. It appeared that Hartley had soured on him (and he on Hartley I suspect) to the point that he wasn't going to be able contribute in a positive way so long as Hartley was the head coach.

Gio gave a really good interview about the Hartley firing.

Takes a lot of responsibility for Hartley's firing, felt like the players let him down.

Players loved Bob, Gio himself owes Hartley a lot after he went hard to get Gio the C.

It'll be up later I was half listening through most of it but he really wanted to emphasize that this is on the players.
