What happened in the ninth there? Bullpen implosion?

The starting pitching for the Jays has really been a pleasant surprise. Brett Cecil seems to have found his game too, I think he has only given up 1 hit in his last 3 appearances.

8 hits and 7 walks today and 14 hits yesterday. All really good signs.

Storen gave up a single to Pedroia, a double to Shaw then a single to Ramirez then struck out Ortiz who came in to pinch hit.

Good that Happ got the win given his solid outing.

TSN sure has no problems taking shots at the Jays.

Wow, is anyone watching the "first impression: the Mark Shapiro story"? It's certainly building a narrative, if not preparing fans for what's to come, lol.

So far it's - everyone in Toronto hates Shapiro and that's not fair and hard on him and his family - He's known for moving out huge pieces for futures, but look how it worked back then!!!!!

This and that David Price piece were so blatantly Roger's trying to "set the record straight" and saying what they wanted to say to try to get the fans on board with what's coming after this season.

"there will be huge challenges......managing fan expectations.......and he will be hated again". "You ask anyone who the best guys in baseball are and everyone has Shapiro at number one".

Shameless by Rogers.

Yup, nothing but a slap to the face of a fan base that is really quite knowledgeable. A pathetic puff piece. Rogers slowly preparing us for what's to come. I hope we enjoy this season, because it's going to be downhill from there and all the signs are pointing towards it.

As soon as I saw the preview for it last week, I knew what it is was going to be.

That was a good article till the end. I thought all that analysis was going to lead to the conclusion that age is catching up to Tulo but no, the conclusion was that he hates playing in Canada? Weird.

TSN is actually a pretty good place to get reliable Blue Jays news that hasn't been pre-approved by Rogers. Recently though it seems like it's being used to cast stones at their competition.

Quiet in here tonight. Tulo had a 2 RBI double in the top of the 3rd to make it 3-0 Jays.

Was that final out on Tulo or Rivera? Not sure why they didn't hold him there

I thought Tulo looked super slow at first, but the ball was hit hard to the right fielder. With two outs I guess it's not a terrible idea to go for it, but he was out by a mile.

It really looks like Tulo is starting to come around, albeit slowly. He is on a 3 game hit streak!!

Jeez talk about a couple of backwards calls. That first pitch to Goins was way off the plate, called a strike, then the second pitch was a perfect pitch to bottom of the strike zone right over the plate, called a ball.

That sucks, if the call was out on the field they wouldn't overturn it. Hope Stro can get out of this.
