Precisely this. What if Wideman was playing as well as he was last year where he got 56 points and we were in the thick of the hunt? Catastrophic would be the perfect word.

He'll be angry either way. He doesn't like the original suspension, he's been paying the salary into the player assistance fund so not saving any money and at this point gets a max 1 game of playing benefit if the suspension gets reduced [sounds like it might be]. There was nothing for him to be happy about now that the suspension has gone on as long as it has.
